When people come together, even the most difficult challenges can be overcome.
PavelAndreev.ORG celebrates another remarkable example of compassion in action. In just a few hours, hundreds of donors united to support two-week-old Theo and his family during one of the most difficult moments of their lives.
A total of 695 donors contributed €15,074.95, successfully funding Theo's urgent surgery and giving him the chance to receive life-changing medical treatment.
Baby Theo was born with bladder exstrophy, one of the rarest congenital urological abnormalities. The condition occurs when the abdominal wall does not fully close during fetal development, leaving the bladder exposed outside the body.
Throughout the pregnancy, all examinations and medical tests indicated that everything was normal. As a result, the diagnosis came as a devastating shock for Theo's parents, Gergana and Martin.
Fortunately, bladder exstrophy is a treatable condition when managed with specialized reconstructive surgery.
Theo's treatment plan consists of two major stages.
The first surgery is scheduled for September and will focus on reconstructing the urethra, repositioning the bladder inside the body, and restoring the abdominal wall while avoiding intervention on the pelvic bones at this stage.
The cost of the operation alone is €15,000 - an amount that was impossible for the family to cover on their own.
The extraordinary response from hundreds of donors transformed fear into hope for Theo's family.
Thanks to the generosity of supporters, Theo will now receive the urgent medical care he needs at the right time, significantly improving his chances for a healthy future.
The team at PavelAndreev.ORG extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in the campaign.
Once again, you have shown that kindness has the power to change lives.
