Some children spend their first years playing.
Angel spent his in hospital rooms, surgeries, and battles for his life.
Born prematurely together with his twin brother, Angel faced severe diagnoses from his very first days — hydrocephalus, retinopathy, and later cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
In just four years, Angel went through seven surgeries.
Despite everything, he never stopped fighting.
After years of rehabilitation and treatment in Bulgaria and Turkey, little Achi began showing remarkable progress — sitting independently, gaining better control over his movements, and showing an ever-growing desire to live and explore the world around him.
It was this hope — the hope that Angel could become more independent one day — that led his family to launch a campaign on PavelAndreev.ORG to support a new complex surgery.
Today, there is finally good news.
On May 9, 2026, Angel underwent a difficult six-hour surgery that turned out to be more complex than initially expected. Doctors performed a correction of the hip socket and replaced an implant in the other joint because Angel is growing and the previous fixation was no longer suitable.
Today, Angel is finally back home with his family.
After the successful surgery, Angel now faces another major challenge — a long period of physiotherapy and rehabilitation that will be crucial for his recovery.
This is his chance to become more independent one day, to play with his brother, and to experience a freer childhood.
His family is deeply grateful to everyone who has supported Angel throughout the years.
Because behind every small victory of a child, there are sometimes thousands of kind hearts standing together.
