Today it became clear that our mother needs life-saving surgery in the next few days! One of the tumor recurrences is squeezing her intestines and now she can't eat by mouth, and goes to the toilet with a tube through her nose! The docs have been administering treatments for the past few days in hopes that her intestines will start functioning on their own, but today they said they have waited enough and need to operate on her intestines so they don't get tangled up and stop completely and further damage her kidney function!

at the surgery they want to cut off the part of the bowel affected by the tumor, Either they will just remove what is in the way or they will do a bypass in the worst case if nothing can be done they will leave the probe through the nose if our dear mother holds out,because she is still 34kg with atrophied muscles and I said the risk of death is not small !

Also during the operation the urologist will replace the stent on one kidney in the hope it will start functioning !

Hello, My name is Simona Zhekova, my sister Theodora and I are raising funds for our mother! She has been hospitalized for two days in Anadolu clinic in Istanbul, trying to stabilize her after unsuccessful treatments in Bulgaria! In February this year she was operated in Burgas for uterine cancer, and had radiotherapy there! Kidney complications ensued, after they TURNED DOWN the dose of radiation , kidneys and bladder could not function on their own! This was followed by a stent , nephrostomy and catheter in a private clinic in Burgas, some incorrectly placed and which proved to be a failed treatment ma this stage! The result is that she is now 34 kg, with blood imfection,hemoglobin 5 at the limit of 12-15, moves with a wheelchair and can not eat! The requested tests so far amount to 10000 leva, the hospital stay per day is between 1500-2000 euro depending on the drugs they will infuse her! Whoever is able and willing to help, we would be very grateful! Since we are not able to raise all the necessary funds and we do not know until when she will be hospitalized in Istanbul and what interventions will follow after that!
