С огромна благодарност и признателност към всеки един от вас искаме да споделим какво се случва с нашето слънчице и кампанията, която водим заедно – ръка за ръка.
На 30.06.2025 г. Софи премина през контролен преглед с рентгенови снимки в ортопедичната болница "Шпайзинг" във Виена. Разговаряхме с лекуващия ѝ лекар, доц. Александър Кребс, и споделихме, че все още ѝ е трудно да се отпусне напълно на крачетата си, когато е в специалната проходилка. Понякога се страхува, когато я поставим в нея – нещо напълно нормално след тежката операция, която преживя през октомври 2024 г.
Доц. Кребс ни увери, че въпреки всичко възстановяването върви в добра посока. Според него Софи просто има нужда от още време – време, за да се почувства сигурна и да направи своята първа, самостоятелна крачка. Получихме и добри новини – костите заздравяват добре, което е много важно за следващата стъпка в лечението ѝ.
Препоръката на лекарите е до края на тази година да бъде извършена втора операция – за изваждане на поставените импланти. Колкото по-дълго останат те, толкова по-сложно ще бъде отстраняването им впоследствие. Болницата вече ни предостави оферта за операцията – 10 401 евро. Тази сума е само за медицинската процедура и не включва допълнителните разходи по пътуването, престоя, лекарствата и нужната грижа.
Операцията е насрочена за ноември 2025 г.

Dear friends and donors of our little princess Sophie,
It is with great gratitude and appreciation to each and every one of you that we want to share what is happening with our little sunshine and the campaign we are leading together - hand in hand.
On 30.06.2025 Sophie underwent a check-up with X-rays at the orthopaedic hospital "Speising" in Vienna. We talked with her doctor, Assoc. Alexander Krebs, and we shared that she still finds it difficult to fully relax on her feet when she is in the special walker. Sometimes she is afraid when we put her in it - something completely normal after the major surgery she had in October 2024.
Assoc. Krebs assured us that despite everything, the recovery is going well. In his opinion, Sophie just needs more time - time to feel secure and take her first, independent step. We also received good news - the bones are healing well, which is very important for the next step in her treatment.
The doctors' recommendation is to perform a second surgery by the end of this year - to remove the implants that were placed. The longer they remain, the more complicated it will be to remove them afterwards. The hospital has already given us a quote for the operation - 10 401 euros. This amount is only for the medical procedure and does not include the additional costs of travel, stay, medication and necessary care.
The operation is scheduled for November 2025.
