Лечението започва! The healing begins!
Динамични седмица бяха последните... След операцията, Ивето изуми всички, изправяйки се на крака. Само 10 дни след операцията, лекарите я изписаха за две седмици, в които да е в България и да продължи да се възстановява.
За съжаление, обаче, едва три дни след като се прибра, се влоши силно, поради липса на калий и калций в организма (това разбрахме в последствие) и се наложи с частна линейка да я върнем обратно в Турция. Успяха да я вдигнат много бързо отново на крака, но тя е твърде слаба и немощна, защото след тримесечен глад, организмът не може да се възстанови. Освен всичко, има поставени две стоми на корема, които извеждат почти веднага изядената храна от организма.
В петък мина едното вливане и едната химия, утре предстои второ вливане и отново 14 дена в България. Сметката за този престой е 17000 Евро! Което ни прави изключително тревожни и притеснени. Надяваме се да успеем да съберем още средства и да доведем до успешен край мисията ни. Благодаря ви от сърце за всяко дарение и всяка мила дума! Бъдете здрави!
The last weeks were dynamic... After the surgery, Iveto amazed everyone by getting back on her feet. Just 10 days after the surgery, the doctors discharged her for two weeks to continue her recovery.
Unfortunately, however, only three days after she came home, she deteriorated severely due to lack of potassium and calcium in her system (we found this out later) and we had to bring her back to Turkey by private ambulance. They managed to get her back on her feet very quickly, but she is too weak and frail because after three months of starvation, the body cannot recover. On top of that, she has two stomas placed on her abdomen that take the eaten food out of her system almost immediately.
On Friday, one infusion and one chemo went through, and tomorrow is the second infusion and 14 days in Bulgaria again. The bill for this stay is 17000 Euro! Which makes us extremely anxious and worried. Hopefully we will be able to raise more funds and bring our mission to a successful end.
