Все по-трудно намирам думи да пиша за ситуацията при Виктор. Докато успея да се "събера" след поредния шамар, е дошло време за следваща оценка на състоянието му. С малко закъснение, за което се извинявам, ще споделя случващото се. Резултатите от ЯМР и томограф на белите дробове, от 16.09. не са добри. На 19.09. беше направен и PET/CT.
Резултатите потвърждават, че ОТНОВО има АКТИВНОСТ и ПРОГРЕСИЯ (увеличение на разсейките) в белите дробове. Ако има нещо хубаво в целия този ад, в който сме от години, то е че, това, което се виждаше в черния дроб и стомаха, не са метастази, а най-вероятно бактериална инфекция. Лечението на Виктор след приема в болницата, продължава и в момента с четири вида антибиотици и включена отново орална химиотерапия, която беше спряна за известно време, заради инфекцията. Лекуващият екип изчаква да свърши приема на антибиотиците, и въпреки краткото време след последните изследвания, във вторник (01.10.) ще направи нов томограф на белите дробове. Едва след резултатите ще се обмисля продължаващо лечение. 🙏

I am finding it harder and harder to find the words to write about Victor's situation. By the time I manage to "pull myself together" after another slap, it is time for the next assessment of his condition. With a little delay, for which I apologize, I will share what is happening. The results of the MRI and CT scan of his lungs, from 16.09. are not good. A PET/CT was also done on 19.09.
The results confirm that AGAIN there is ACTIVITY and PROGRESSION (increase in scatter) in the lungs. If there is one good thing in all this hell we have been in for years, it is that, what was seen in the liver and stomach were not metastases, but most likely a bacterial infection. Victor's treatment since being admitted to the hospital, has continued and is currently on four types of antibiotics and included oral chemotherapy again, which was stopped for a while because of the infection. The treating team is waiting for him to finish taking the antibiotics, and despite the short time since the last tests, will do another CT scan of his lungs on Tuesday (01.10.). Only after the results will ongoing treatment be considered. 🙏
