Нашата борбена и слънчева дъщеря Лора се ражда като едно напълно здраво бебе, но още на 20-ия ден от живота ѝ започват първите проблеми – леки потрепвания на ръчичките и крачетата. След редица изследвания и престои в болници ѝ поставят диагноза епилепсия.
Въпреки медикаментозното лечение, пристъпите не изчезват дълго време. Едва на първата си Коледа – 25.12.2016 г. – потрепванията спират като по чудо, но остава необходимостта от постоянна терапия. Годините минават без гърчове, но Лора започва да изостава в развитието си – не говори, не пълзи, не може да се обслужва сама.
На 3 години и половина успяхме да спрем лекарствата, а малко след това тя направи своите първи опити да пълзи и да върви. Днес Лора е на 8 години и половина – тя може да ходи и дори да бяга, но не може да говори, не може да слиза и изкачва стълби сама и е напълно зависима от възрастен. Наскоро ѝ беше поставена и диагноза аутизъм.
Надежда за напредък получихме от Медицински център „Феникс“ – гр. Пловдив, където се провеждат специализирани терапии за деца с аутизъм. За съжаление, сумите за лечението са непосилни за нашето семейство.
Затова се обръщаме към Вас с молба да подкрепите нашата Лора. Вярваме, че с правилната терапия тя може да направи още крачки към самостоятелност и по-добър живот.

Our struggling and sunny daughter Laura was born as a perfectly healthy baby, but on the 20th day of her life the first problems started - slight twitching of her hands and feet. After a number of tests and hospital stays she was diagnosed with epilepsy.
Despite medication, the seizures did not go away for a long time. It was only on her first Christmas - 25.12.2016 - that the twitching miraculously stopped, but the need for constant therapy remained. The years pass without seizures, but Laura begins to lag behind in her development - she does not speak, does not crawl, cannot attend to herself.
At 3 and a half we were able to stop the medication, and shortly thereafter she made her first attempts to crawl and walk. Today Laura is 8 and a half - she can walk and even run, but she cannot speak, cannot go down or up stairs on her own and is completely dependent on an adult. She was also recently diagnosed with autism.
We received hope for progress from the Phoenix Medical Center - town of. We have received a hope for a better future from the Phoenix Clinic in Plovdiv, where specialized therapies for children with autism are provided. Unfortunately, the amounts for the treatment are unaffordable for our family.
That is why we appeal to you to support our Laura. We believe that with the right therapy she can make more steps towards independence and a better life.
