Второто вливане на стволови клетки на Стъни беше планирана за този месец, но бяхме посъветвани да направим имунологични изследвания, за да проверим състоянието на имунната система. За целта се обърнахме към доц. Конова, която работи съвместно с д-р Димитър Колев- невролог, специализиращ в работата с деца от аутистичния спектър. Направихме доста подробни излседвания на Стъни, назначени от имунолог - доц. Конова, след които последва консултация с нея и тя е на мнение, че имунната система на детето не функционира правилно и при него се наблюдава MCAS - Синдром на активиране на мастоцитите, който също допринася за неправилното функциониране на нервната му система.
Назначено му е лечение в продължение на няколко месеца, както и допълнително изследване на чревен микробиом и след това вливане на гама-глобулинови препарати.
След като подобрим състоянието на имунната система, чиито показатели ще следим на всеки 3 месеца, ще пристъпим отново към вливания на стволови клетки.

Stoney's second stem cell infusion was scheduled for this month, but we were advised to do immunological testing to check the status of her immune system. For this purpose we turned to Assoc. Konova, who works together with Dr. Dimitar Kolev- a neurologist specializing in working with children on the autism spectrum. We made quite detailed examinations of Stani, assigned by an immunologist - Assoc. Konova, followed by a consultation with her and she is of the opinion that the child's immune system is not functioning properly and he has MCAS - Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, which also contributes to the malfunctioning of his nervous system.
He was prescribed treatment for several months, as well as further testing of the gut microbiome and then an infusion of gamma-globulin preparations.
Once we have improved the immune system, whose indicators we will monitor every 3 months, we will proceed with stem cell infusions again.
