През месец декември на Дани бе поставен ботокс в краката и ръцете, който значително намали спастичността му и му позволява да прави по-пълен обхват на някои движения и да стъпва на цяло ходило. За 2 месеца интензивна рехабилитация в център „Роза Академи“ в Турция, той постигна значителен напредък: вече успява да се задържа седнал до няколко минути, има по-добър баланс и координация. За поддържане и надграждане на постигнатите резултати е необходимо усилената физиотерапия да продължи. За съжаление действието на ботокса е краткотрайно и ще трябва скоро отново да му се постави.
Паралелно с рехабилитацията бе започната и терапия с екзозоми, назначена от лекуващия невролог. До този момент са проведени три такива курса, след които в ЕЕГ-то на Дани бе отчетено значително подобрение. Екзозомите оказват благоприятен ефект и върху невропластичността и способността на Дани да се фокусира по-добре и да усвоява нови умения. Обнадеждаващите резултати са причина за продължаване на терапията, като за сега са предписани още 3 курса.

In December, Danny was fitted with Botox in his legs and arms, which has significantly reduced his spasticity and allows him to make a fuller range of some movements and to step on the whole foot. In 2 months of intensive rehabilitation at the Rosa Akademi centrein Turkey, he has made significant progress: he is now able to stay seated for up to a few minutes and has better balance and coordination. To maintain and build on the results achieved, intensive physiotherapy needs to continue. Unfortunately, the action of the Botox is short-lived and he will need to be fitted again soon.
In parallel with the rehabilitation, exosome therapy was started and prescribed by the treating neurologist. So far three such courses have been carried out, after which a significant improvement was notedin Danny's EEG. The exosomes also had a beneficial effect on Danny's neuroplasticity and ability to focus better and learn new skills. The encouraging results are a reason to continue therapy, with 3 more courses prescribed for now.
