Днес получихме резултатите от изследванията и лекарите ни съобщиха – Гери е в ремисия!
❗️ Какво означава ремисия?
Ремисия при левкемия означава, че признаците и симптомите на болестта са изчезнали или са значително намалели. В кръвта и костния мозък не се откриват ракови клетки с обичайните изследвания, а Гери се чувства по-добре и има повече сили. Това не е окончателно излекуване, но е огромна победа и знак, че лечението работи.
Вие заслужавате да знаете това, защото се случва благодарение на всеки един от вас.
Без събраните средства нямаше да можем да си позволим това лечение.
Без цялата ви любов нямаше да се справим емоционално.
Силата на едно дете може да преобърне света – Гери ни учи на смелост, надежда и вяра всеки ден. Тя ни показва, че дори в най-трудните моменти детската усмивка и дух могат да направят чудеса.
❗️ Това е огромна крачка напред в борбата с болестта, но нищо не е приключило. Гери продължава своето лечение в Турция и ще остане там за престоя, необходим за химиотерапията и останалата част от лечението ѝ. Изследванията ще бъдат повтаряни периодично, за да следим здравословното ѝ състояние. Това е голяма победа, но само стъпка напред – болестта все още е пред нас.
Нашата кампания за набиране на средства остава отворена, за да можем да осигурим на Гери живот, изпълнен със здраве, игри и усмивки.

With great excitement and shaking hands I want to share the wonderful news with all of you!
Today we received the results of the tests and the doctors told us - Geri is in remission!
❗️ What does remission mean?
Remission in leukemia means that the signs and symptoms of the disease have disappeared or have significantly decreased. No cancer cells are found in the blood or bone marrow with the usual tests, and Geri is feeling better and has more strength. This is not a definitive cure, but it is a huge victory and a sign that the treatment is working.
You deserve to know this because it is happening because of each and every one of you.
Without the funds raised, we would not be able to afford this treatment.
Without all of your love we would not have made it emotionally.
The power of one child can turn the world around - Geri teaches us courage, hope and faith every day. She shows us that even in the toughest moments, a child's smile and spirit can do wonders.
❗️ This is a huge step forward in the fight against the disease, but nothing is over. Geri is continuing her treatment in Turkey and will remain there for the stay required for her chemotherapy and the rest of her treatment. Tests will be repeated periodically to monitor her health. This is a great victory, but only a step forward - the disease is still ahead of us.
Our fundraising campaign remains open so we can give Geri a life full of health, play and smiles.
