Hello dear Friends and Donors of Ellie. As you already know, Ellie was discharged from Pirogov hospital with a catheter that created an infection and Ellie started to run a fever. The material was brought in to be inoculated and Ellie is now taking an antibiotic to control the infection. She has been having frequent seizures for a few days, and yesterday 13.01.2025 we had to transport her by ambulance to a hospital in Gabrovo, where she was examined by a neurologist. Ellie was discharged with epilepsy which was triggered by the stress she experienced. Yesterday in Gabrovo after the examination and a scanner was done the dosage of medication was increased. Ellie also has a problem with her left ankle which was swollen and painful when she was discharged, a scan was taken yesterday which showed no fracture or sprain, but after examination it turned out that there is an affected nerve and this is the cause of Ellie's pain and inability to move her left leg. Medication was prescribed to treat the nerve. There is a treatment period, and in about a month the nerve will be examined again . When Ellie's condition improves, we will call Pirogov to be given a date to return and Ellie will be admitted to the urology department. Thank you for being with us and supporting us.
