Приятели, последните месеци бяха трудни за Мони!
Преди няколко месеца Мони отново постъпи в болница в Истанбул, където в рамките на два часа, под пълна анестезия се извърши отпускаща операция на сухожилията,заради силната спастика и поставяне за втори път ботулинов токсин [ботокс], извършени от доц.д-р Фуат Билгили!
Но това не е всичко, малко след това се забеляза и изкривяване на гръбначния стълб на Мони и отново потърсих специалист в Турция, главно хирург горни крайници! Така стигнах до доц. Д-р Ахмет Аланай, който откри 21 градуса сколиоза която за сега не налага оперативна намеса!
На моя въпрос към професор А. Аланай дали Мони усеща болка в това състояние, ми бе обяснено, че това изкривяване причинява силен дискомфорт, болка във врата и кръста от натиска и състоянието й не е никак добро!
Но така или иначе предвид тежкия двигателен дефицит и състоянието на Мони, операция в бъдеще ще се наложи, която трае повече от 14 часа, поставят се пирони между прешлените и се води изключително тежка за нейната крехка възраст!
Единственото на този етап, което може да направим е да поддържаме интензивна рехабилатцията, за която вече, за мое огромно съжаление, средствата не достигат!
Тук е момента да се обърна отново към Вас и да Ви помоля да подарим на Мони Щастливо детство без БОЛКА!

Friends, the last months have been hard for Moni!
A few months ago, Moni was admitted again to a hospital in Istanbul, where within two hours, under full anesthesia, a relaxing surgery was performed on the tendons due to the severe spasticity and the insertion of botulinum toxin [Botox] for the second time, performed by Dr. Fuat Bilgili!
But that's not all, shortly after that Moni's spinal curvature was also noticed and again I sought a specialist in Turkey, mainly an upper limb surgeon! That's how I came to the doc. Dr. Ahmet Alanay, who found 21 degrees scoliosis which for now does not require surgical intervention!
To my question to prof. Alanay if Moni feels pain in this condition, I was explained that this curvature causes severe discomfort, pain in her neck and lower back from the pressure and her condition is not good at all!
But either way given Moni's severe mobility deficit and condition, surgery will be required in the future, which lasts over 14 hours, nails are inserted between the vertebrae and is extremely difficult for her tender age!
The only thing we can do at this stage is to keep up the intensive rehab, for which, much to my regret, the funds are no longer there!
This is the time to turn to you again and ask you to give Moni a HAPPY childhood without PAIN!
