I am turning to you with a huge request for help. Didi is not only an amazing woman, but a loving grandmother who is facing a life and death battle. Her doctors are recommending emergency treatment in Turkey, which is her only chance to recover and continue to be there for us, her grandchildren and her family.

Mom's torment began two years ago - lingering low back and back pain, misdiagnosed discopathy. A visit to another medical facility for a second opinion revealed the dreaded diagnosis - lung cancer. Emergency surgery was performed and a course of chemotherapy was administered.To date she has had 18 chemotherapy treatments, which she has endured extremely severely.

After the surgery, to date she is mostly lying down and writhing in pain. On her last visit for an examination - scanner, unfortunately, the results were critical - bone spurs.

Turkish clinics have been consulted and treatment in Istanbul is forthcoming, but the amount for her treatment is prohibitive for us.

I appeal to you for help - hope for Mama Didi. Let's bring her back to life together and make my children's dream come true - that she is alive and well and attends their proms.
