Лечението на малката Никол продължава с интензивна лъчетерапия, която се провежда ежедневно след първата химиотерапия. Малко след изписването си от болницата, Никол е получила припадък, което е наложило извънреден престой в болничното заведение.
За щастие, състоянието ѝ е стабилизирано и лъчетерапията продължава по план. Издадена е епикриза от турската болница, в която се уточнява, че Никол страда от Синовиален сарком – рядък и агресивен вид рак, който се развива в меките тъкани около ставите.
Все още няма окончателна цена за предстоящата операция, тъй като трябва да се изчака завършването на лъчелечението и втората химиотерапия. Очакваните разходи са 100 000 и 250 000 евро, но цената може да се промени, спрямо резултатите от терапиите. Междинен скенер, направен наскоро, показва, че туморът е намалял с 25%. Little Nicole's treatment continues with intensive radiotherapy, which is given daily after the first chemotherapy. Shortly after being discharged from the hospital, Nicole had a seizure, which required an overnight stay at the hospital.
Fortunately, her condition has been stabilized and radiation therapy is continuing as planned. An epicrisis was issued by the Turkish hospital stating that Nicole was suffering from Synovial Sarcoma, a rare and aggressive type of cancer that develops in the soft tissue around the joints.
There is no final cost yet for the upcoming surgery, as we have to wait for the completion of the radiotherapy and the second chemotherapy. The estimated costs are between 100,000 and 250,000 euros, but the price may change according to the results of the therapies. An intermediate scan done recently shows that the tumour has decreased by 25%. Nicole's blood and urine parameters have abnormalities and injections are given daily.
