Скъпи приятели,
Обръщаме се така към всички, които ни помогнаха до този момент в борбата за спасяването на живота на сестра ми Николета. Досега постигнахме много - може да преглъща, да диша макар и все още с апарат. Днес успя да стане от леглото и да направи няколко крачки. Това е голям успех.
Предстои ни още много. Необходимо е състоянието й да се подобри в по-голяма степен, да започне да диша без апарат. На всеки час се правят много и различни упражнения за възстановяване подвижността на ставите и мускулите.Тя е много изтощена след операцията, но не се предава.
След около десетина дни се предвижда да започнат химио и лъчетерапията. Не можем да спрем. Процедурите трябва да се извършат докрай, за да има смисъл всичко до тук. При онкоболните е много трудно да се посочи окончателна сума за лечението. Състоянието на Ники се променя всеки час, налагат се допълнителни изследвания, консултации с различни специалисти според възникващите здравословни проблеми, нови лекарства. Лечението й няма как да има фиксирана крайна цена.

Dear friends,
This is our way of saying thank you to everyone who has helped us so far in the fight to save my sister Nikoleta's life. We have achieved a lot so far - she can swallow, she can breathe though still with a machine. Today she was able to get out of bed and take a few steps. This is a great success.
We still have a lot ahead of us. We need her condition to improve to a greater extent, to start breathing without an apparatus. Every hour we do many different exercises to restore the mobility of the joints and muscles.She is very exhausted after the operation, but she does not give up.
In about ten days chemo and radiation are scheduled to begin. We cannot stop. The treatments have to be carried through for everything to make sense so far. With cancer patients, it is very difficult to give a definitive amount for treatment. Nikki's condition changes every hour, additional tests are needed, consultations with different specialists according to the emerging health problems, new medications. Her treatment cannot have a fixed final price.
