My name is Jane Kaluba and my husband died in 2010 after a five year long illness which led to kidney failure and because of  frequent hospital admission i came to know alot about how people suffer in the hospital hence my founding of the organization called Dette Resources Foundation  which was registered in 2009 .

Our main focus is repartriation of stranded people because the government only has a responsibility  to bring them for health care and it has no budget to take them back to there rural/provincial hospital where they are referred from. We have since signed a memorandum of understanding with the ministry of health and University Teaching Hospital from 2010 which was renewed in 2023.

The scope of work has increased over the years hence the Red Hat Campaign to help us raise funds for transporting poor dialysis patients who are living 50km from the hospital who sometimes fail to go for weekly 3 times routine.

Repatriation of spinal defects and oxygen dependants patients who sometimes stay for close to six months in the hospital after discharge denying other patients bed space and exposing themselves to the diseases.

We also sustain the stay of poor patients from rural areas whilst in the hospital  and and reptraite discharged stranded people to their destination.
