Софи успя да замине за планираната операция през месец Октомври 2024 г. като сумата за операцията към болницата беше платена благодарение на Вашата огромна дарителска подкрепа за нейната кампания. Благодарим Ви от сърце!
Самата операция беше извършена на 15 Октомври 2024 г. след което Софи прекара една седмица в болница "Шпайзинг" и още 5 седмици в квартирата ни във Виена. През тези шест седмици и бяха извършени два контолни прегледа, като след втория преглед и беше свален напълно гипса и направени рентгенови снимки на тазобедрените стави и по думите на доктора "Операцията е успешна и може да си тръгнете за България" в края на месец Ноември се прибрахме у дома. Доктора ни дадени указания от месец Януари 2025 г. да започнем с усилена рехабилитация, тъй като 6 седмичният престой в гипс се отрази на Софи и крачетата и отслабнаха много.
По препоръка на доктора, докато бяхме във Виена, на Софи и бяха изработени нови ортези, които да държат глезените по-стабилно при последващата интензивна рехабилитация. Също така ни бяха дадени препоръки от доктора, че настоящата и количка вече не е подходяща за нея и трябва да я сменим. Към момента все още очакваме проформа на моделите колички, които ни бяха препоръчани.
През 2025 г. ни предстоят контролни прегледи в болница "Шпайзинг" във Виена, където доктора трябва да прецени как върви възстановяването и да насрочи дата за последващата операция за премахване на имплантите, които и бяха поставени при първата операция. Към настоящият момент имаме само ориентировъчна цена за втората операция на стойност около 10 000 €. Затова от сърце Ви молим да продължите да подкрепяте малкото ни лъвче СОФИ и нейната кампания.
Все още през 2025 г. Софи не е започнала с интензивната рехабилитация,тъй като през месец Февруари се разболя от Грип тип Б, а в момента е настанена за лечение в болница с „пневмония“.
Скъпи приятели и дарители! Молим Ви, да не спирате да подкрепяте кампанията на малката Софи в предвид на постоянно увеличаващите се разходи, предстоящите прегледи във Виена и насрочването на втората операция за изваждане на имплантите. Нарастващите разходи стават все по-непосилни за нас, нейното семейство. Бъдете здрави!

Dear friends and donors!
Sophie was able to go for her planned surgery in October 2024 and the amount for the surgery to the hospital was paid thanks to your huge donation to her campaign. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
The surgery itself was carried out on 15 October 2024, after which Sophie spent one week in the Spaising Hospital and another 5 weeks in our accommodation in Vienna. During these six weeks she had two hip examinations, and after the second examination the plaster was completely removed and x-rays of her hip joints were taken and according to the doctor "The operation was successful and you can leave for Bulgaria" at the end of November we went home. The doctor gave us instructions to start intensive rehabilitation from January 2025, as the 6 week stay in plaster cast affected Sophie and her legs lost a lot of weight.
On the doctor's recommendation, while we were in Vienna, Sophie had new orthotics made to hold her ankles more steady for the intensive rehabilitation that followed. We were also advised by the doctor that her current wheelchair was no longer suitable for her and we needed to replace it. As of now, we are still awaiting a proforma on the wheelchair models that were recommended to us.
In 2025, we will have follow-up appointments at the Spiesing Hospital in Vienna, where the doctor will need to assess how her recovery is going and schedule a date for the follow-up surgery to remove the implants that were placed during her first surgery. At the moment we only have an approximate cost for the second operation of about 10,000 €. So we ask you from the bottom of our hearts to continue to support our little lion SOFI and her campaign.
In 2025 Sophie has not yet started the intensive rehabilitation,as she contracted Influenza type B in February and is currently admitted to hospital for treatment of "pneumonia".
Dear friends and donors! Please keep supporting little Sophie's campaign in the face of ever-increasing costs, upcoming checkups in Vienna and the scheduling of the second surgery to remove the implants. The rising costs are becoming more and more unbearable for us, her family. Stay healthy!
