Hello, five days ago on Saturday (07.09) we were in Burgas with my friend, my dog who is a Yorkshire terrier 9 years old and her name is Tessa decided to jump from the 2nd floor terrace while we were sleeping. The picture was terrible, we barely took her to the nearest clinic. According to the doctors Tessa had a cracked rib and a broken leg with no other serious damage, we were told that surgery should be performed in 7 days, we had two more checkups before going home to Sofia, they assured us that she was in better condition and that she should be back on her feet in a week and off we went!

We got home and started ringing clinics for a leg assessment, showed them the x-ray pictures and it turned out the dog was in a very serious condition and should not be home at all, the clinic had given us very inaccurate information. Tessa is currently in another clinic on systems, antibiotics and pain killers. After a scan, it was discovered that she has five cracked ribs, and spinal problems, plus a severed nerve which is why she can't move her back two legs, and her front one is broken.

The nights in the clinic are expensive, the medication too, and the operation is £5,000, which needs to be done as soon as possible, and I don't have that financial ability. They suggested I put my dog down because there is not much chance, but I am obliged to do my best and try. I took her in at 5 years old and she has had an extremely hard life, we were taught as newborns then the basics, she didn't know what it was like to go out on a leash and not shake constantly. I helped her then, I will help her now, I hope there are good people and with help we can save her!❤️
