She is only 16 years old. A child with dreams. A sweetheart. Beautiful. Good. Studious. Strong. Sincere... with Ewing's sarcoma. Insidious cancer. Metastatic. Affected lung and spinal vertebrae. Treatment has been ongoing for a year and three months in Turkey - American Hospital. Emergency surgery for vertebral decompression. 14 courses of five-day chemotherapy. 31 courses of radiotherapy. 4 more courses of chemotherapy. Again 3 courses of radiotherapy. After a week another 3 courses of radiotherapy. Emergency and life threatening surgery to remove a skull tumor pressing on the brain with tumor hemorrhage! Nearly 1 000 000 leva spent. Success is there. Joy is self sufficient. With inactive cancer in her pelvis and lung. Chances are not slim 🙏🏻 And she can live! And she wants to live. She's a child who wants to see her future, to enjoy her youth, to have the opportunity to dream and grow. To be by her parents, to support and love them. To walk in the park with her friends, to learn, to laugh, to love and be loved. To experience all the wonderful things life presents to us that we take for granted. It's not hard to lend a hand. It is not hard to share. It is not hard to give. It is not hard to help. It is not hard to pass by. It's hard to be indifferent. It's hard to believe it doesn't affect you.
