Миналата седмица бях в Националния онкологичен център. Добрата новина беше, че има отговор на определеното ми лечение – прилаганата терапия действа.
Лошата новина е, че Националната здравноосигурителна каса за втори път официално отказа да финансира лечението с назначения медикамент, така че ако искам да живея трябва да си го плащам и доставям от чужбина сам. Преразказаха ми правилата и изискванията по Наредба № 2 вместо да осигурят законно полагащото ми се лечение.
Обещанието на новия управител на Касата да се грижи за здравноосигурените се оказа поредната лъжа в нашата държава. Като човек работещ в бюджетната сфера брутната си заплата съм виждал само като число на фиша, а съм получавал само остатъка след като задължително са ми били удържани всички данъци и осигуровки. И какво получавам насреща – цинично звучащото обяснение, че ако искам да се лекувам в чужбина трябва да имам предвид, че Швейцария не била в Европейския съюз… Много ценно знание, сигурно наскоро са го разбрали.

I was at the National Cancer Center last week. The good news was that there was a response to my prescribed treatment - the administered therapy was working.
The bad news is that the National Health Insurance Fund has for the second time officially refused to fund the treatment with the prescribed medication, so if I want to live I have to pay for it and have it shipped in from abroad myself. I was told the rules and requirements of Ordinance No 2 instead of providing the treatment I was legally entitled to.
The promise of the new manager of the Health Insurance Fund to take care of the insured has turned out to be another lie in our country. As someone working in the public sector, I have only seen my gross salary as a number on a payslip, and I have only received the balance after all taxes and social security contributions have been compulsorily deducted. And what do I get in return - the cynical-sounding explanation that if I want to be treated abroad I should bear in mind that Switzerland was not in the European Union... Very valuable knowledge, they must have figured it out recently.
