Първи Контролен преглед след операцията First Follow-up Examination after Surgery
Здравейте скъпи дарители.
Във вторник мина първият контролен преглед на Наско след трансплантацията през Ноември. Според професор Кубалоглу окото му се възстановява бавно и се очаква да започне да вижда след около 3, 4 месеца. Тогава и ще бъде следващият контролен преглед. На него ще се определят какви очила ще трябва да носи Наско, защото след трансплантация на роговица пациента получава астигматизъм и се налага постоянно да се носят. Също така докторът смени лекарствата на Наско с други и до следващият преглед ще трябва да ги ползва.
Наско има своите добри и лоши дни. В някои дни има много силни болки и зрението му е доста замъглено и не вижда. Надяваме се наистина скоро да почувства подобрение и да започне да вижда с оперираното око.
Същевременно продължаваме набирането на средства за трансплантация за другото око. Професора беше казал, че следващата зима може да се направи, но всичко зависи от възстановяването на дясното.
Благодарение на всички вас стигнахме до тук и борбата за зрението на Наско продължава.

Hello dear donors.
On Tuesday we had Nasko's first check-up after the transplant in November. According to Professor Kubaloglu his eye is slowly recovering and he is expected to start seeing in about 3, 4 months. That's when the next check-up will be. It will determine what kind of glasses Nasko will have to wear, because after the cornea transplant the patient gets astigmatism and has to wear them all the time. The doctor also changed Nasko's medication to other ones and he will have to use them until the next check-up.
Nasko has his good and bad days. Some days he is in a lot of pain and his vision is quite blurry and he cannot see. Hopefully he will feel improvement really soon and start to see with the operated eye.
In the meantime we are continuing to raise funds for a transplant for the other eye. The professor had said it could be done next winter, but it all depends on the recovery of the right one.
Thanks to all of you, we have made it this far and the fight for Nasko's sight continues.
