We are all preparing. We cook, wrap the last presents, travel to be with our families ... We enjoy the Christmas magic and wish each other health, happiness and luck.
For Joy, this Christmas will be different. She will be in the hospital for another dose of chemotherapy. She won't be with her family, she won't hug her loved ones, she won't go out with friends, she won't open presents. She'll just be in the hospital room, smiling and enjoying your shared emotions and moments and praying that next Christmas she'll be home with her family.
