Hello, close and distant friends, acquaintances and strangers!

This is my mom and the most precious person to me. Besides being the best mother in the world, she is also the most caring and dedicated grandmother.

On her fiftieth birthday, fate gave her one of the worst diagnoses-stage IV adenocarcinoma of the lung.

After a number of tests and a PET scan, it turned out that she had multiple metastases in different parts of her body. The doctors in Bulgaria did not give us a good prognosis and we had to seek an opinion in Turkey, Anadolu Johns Hopkins Hospital.

After consultations and tests we were offered a treatment plan which at this stage includes a course of radiotherapy, chemotherapy and immunotherapy. So far, five radiotherapies and one chemotherapy have been carried out at a cost of £26,000, with insufficient funds for the remainder of the initial course of treatment.
