Charity campaign in support of Marusya

Dear Donors, my name is Sheni and I am the mother of little Marusya. I would like to tell you the story of my little child in the hope of receiving your support.

Marie is 7 years old and has been diagnosed with chronic renal failure stage 4-5 based on neurogenic bladder and passive high-grade vesicoureteral reflux (VUR), anterior abdominal wall cystoma. Significant growth retardation was also found.

Due to progression of renal impairment, we consulted in Turkey in the summer of 2021, with a view to the need for a kidney transplant. We were advised to build a Mitrofanov catheterization channel prior to transplantation.

In recent weeks Marie's condition has deteriorated sharply. Yesterday she was admitted to the hospital in Plovdiv as an emergency. The doctors here can do nothing and she urgently needs to be transported to Turkey to begin treatment.
