Numele meu este Pistol Gheorghe și mă lupt cu o boală gravă și anume adenocarcinom pulmonar, mai exact cancer la plămâni.
Totul a început în luna februarie a anului trecut, când am mers la orl pentru ca acuzam dureri în gât și expectoram cu sânge. În urma consultului, medicul a decis să mă trimită să fac o radiografie pulmonară. După ce am efectuat radiografia medicul pneumolog a constata ca există o formațiune tumorală la plămânul drept. La îndrumarea acestuia am efectuat un CT unde am primit ca rezultat, voluminoasă formațiune tumorală la nivelul lobului superior drept 70/53/61 mm.
Pe 23 martie 2023 am fost operat de lobectomie pulmonară superioară dreapta, urmând ca formațiunea tumorală să fie supusă examenului histopatologic. O lună mai târziu vestea a venit ca un șoc pentru mine și întreaga familie: adenocarcinom pulmonar (cancer malign la plămâni). Am urmat 4 ședințe de chimioterapie după care am mers să mi fac controlul care presupune efectuarea CT ului torace, abdomen și pelvis, urmat de RMN cerebral.
În urma acestora s au constata 2 determimari secundare cerebrale dreapta. La recomandarea medicului oncolog am mers la spitalul Bagdasar pentru radioterapie, însă am fost refuzat pe motiv ca sunt poziționate lângă nervul ocular și nu se poate face radioterapie sterotactica. După numeroase încercări de a gasi un medic care să mi efectueze aceste ședințe de radioterapie, am luat decizia de a merge în Turcia. La începutul lunii septembrie, am făcut analizele și am început ședințele de radioterapie, urmate de 4 ședințe de chimioterapie și imunoterapie (la distanță de 3 săptămâni). După ce au trecut cele 3 luni (decembrie) de tratament am făcut controlul (CT și RMN) și s au constata următoarele: 3 determinări secundare (metastaze): una cerebrală și una la costă în partea din față și cealaltă pe spate. Au urmat 12 ședințe de radioterapie și încă 4 ședințe chimioterapie și imunoterapie. În luna martie la următorul control, s au constata alte 4 determinări secundare (metastaze) după cum urmează: una la plămân, una la costă, una la rinichiul stâng și una cerebrală. Au urmat alte 12 ședințe de radioterapie plus chimio și imuno.
În prezent (luna iunie) mă aflu în Turcia pentru control, unde au constata alte 4 determinări secundare (metastaze): una cerebrală, una la coloană, 2 la rinichi. Alte 12 ședințe de radioterapie urmate de 4 ședințe chimio și imuno. Timp de 2 ani va trebui să urmez tratamentul de imunoterapie (1 ședință la 3 săptămâni) și controlul la 3 luni.
Vă scriu povestea mea în încercarea de a găsi oameni cu suflet mare care mă pot ajuta pentru a merge mai departe în această luptă. Va rog să mă ajutați să merg mai departe in acesta lupta! Vă mulțumesc!
My name is Pistol Gheorghe Pistol and I am battling with a serious disease, namely lung adenocarcinoma, more precisely lung cancer.
It all started in February last year, when I went to the orl because I was experiencing pain in my throat and coughing up blood. Following the consultation, the doctor decided to send me for a chest X-ray. After taking the X-ray the pulmonologist found that there was a tumor formation in my right lung. At his guidance I performed a CT scan where I received as a result, voluminous tumor formation in the right upper lobe 70/53/61 mm.
On March 23, 2023, I underwent right upper lung lobectomy surgery and the tumor formation was submitted for histopathological examination. One month later the news came as a shock to me and the whole family: lung adenocarcinoma (malignant lung cancer). I underwent 4 sessions of chemotherapy after which I went for my check-up which involves CT scans of the chest, abdomen and pelvis, followed by brain MRI.
This revealed 2 right brain secondary findings. On oncologist's recommendation I went to Bagdasar Hospital for radiotherapy, but I was refused on the grounds that they are positioned near the ocular nerve and sterotactic radiotherapy cannot be done. After numerous attempts to find a doctor to perform these radiotherapy sessions for me, I made the decision to go to Turkey. At the beginning of September, I had the tests and started the radiotherapy sessions, followed by 4 sessions of chemotherapy and immunotherapy (3 weeks apart). After the 3 months (December) of treatment I had a check-up (CT and MRI) and found the following: 3 secondary determinations (metastases): one in the brain and one in the front and one in the back. This was followed by 12 sessions of radiotherapy and 4 more sessions of chemotherapy and immunotherapy. In March at the next check-up, 4 other secondary determinations (metastases) were found as follows: one in the lung, one in the rib, one in the left kidney and one in the brain. Another 12 sessions of radiotherapy plus chemo and immunotherapy followed.
Currently (June) I am in Turkey for a check-up, where they found 4 other secondary determinations (metastases): one brain, one spine, 2 kidney. Another 12 sessions of radiotherapy followed by 4 sessions of chemo and immuno. For 2 years I will have to follow the immunotherapy treatment (1 session every 3 weeks) and a check-up every 3 months.
