Битката на Радост със Сарком на Юинг - много агресивен рак формиращ се в костите продължава вече 10 месеца. През цялото това време именно благодарение на Вас ние успяхме да съберем и изхарчим една не малка сума за лечението на Радост. Сума, която трудно се събира, но която не е толкова голяма, когато я използваш за подобно лечение. Радост и нейната майка Дени не са се прибирали вкъщи от ден първи на лечението. За тях дните са ясни. Те трябва да се борят. Дени е поставена пред една и съща гледка всеки ден. Гледка, която може да смрази всеки родител, гледка, която носи в себе си само болка и страх. Гледката на това да виждаш всеки ден как детето ти е седнало в инвалидната количка, изпитващо болки и обикалящо от кабинет на кабинет, за да мине през поредните изследвания, поредната химиотерапия, поредното укрепващо лечение. Страшната гледка обаче крие и много вяра и надежда… за деня, когато ще дойде онази така чакана Блага Вест. Онзи момент, когато ще чуем – Радост нямаш рак. ТОЗИ ДЕН СЕГА Е ТОЛКОВА ДАЛЕЧE И ВСЕ ОЩЕ НЕ ИДВА.
И понякога чупи… духа им, силата им и надеждите им. Разбива ги на малки парчета и след всяко събиране те не са същите.
Всяка майка иска най-доброто за детето си. Пазим децата си от лоши навици, от грешни хора, от погрешни решения и т.н. Joy's battle with Ewing's Sarcoma, a very aggressive cancer forming in the bone, has been going on for 10 months. During all this time it is thanks to you that we have been able to raise and spend a not insignificant amount of money for Radost's treatment. An amount that is hard to raise, but which is not so big when you use it for such treatment. Joy and her mother Denny have not been home since day one of treatment. For them, the days are clear. They have to fight. Denny is faced with the same sight every day. A sight that can chill any parent, a sight that holds only pain and fear. The sight of seeing your child every day sitting in a wheelchair, in pain, going from office to office to go through another test, another chemo, another strengthening treatment. But the scary sight also holds a lot of faith and hope... for the day when that much awaited Good News will come. That moment when we will hear - Joy you don't have cancer. THAT DAY IS NOW SO FAR AWAY AND YET IT IS NOT COMING.
And sometimes it breaks... their spirit, their strength and their hopes. It breaks them into little pieces and after each reunion they are not the same.
Every mother wants the best for her child. We protect our children from bad habits, wrong people, wrong decisions, etc. We want them to have the best education, the most beautiful clothes, to handle the best technology... But a mother doesn't care about that. She wants the best treatment for her daughter! As a parent, it is her duty to provide it... Today, this mother needs all of us. Let's help her to help her child.
