Let us tell you the story of our beautiful flower - Tsveti, a graduate of the Nikol Vaptsarov School in the Dobrudja town of General Toshevo. She is a beautiful and radiant child, extremely active and ambitious. Tsveti combines school lessons with folk singing and folk dancing, participates in various folklore programs until the day her life turns upside down.

It all happened literally within days - on 9 March Tsveti danced and sang, and from the next day she began to complain of weakness in her legs. Her mother took her to the emergency room at Dobrich Hospital, where the child was prescribed painkillers and returned home for treatment. Hours later, however, Tsveti fell and was then transported to the University Hospital "St. She was taken to the hospital in Varna. Within a month, the girl was in the hospital and a series of tests were done.

The doctors' assumptions were that she had developed an autoimmune disease - Guillain-Barre Syndrome, but without any definiteness. Tsveti's mother, who cares for her around the clock herself, sent an inquiry to a clinic in Turkey, where they provided a quote for new tests and where they indicated that they had patients with this disease whom they had cured.

The bitter truth is that in waiting for accurate tests, diagnosis and adequate treatment, Tsveti has wasted a lot of valuable time because those conducted in Bulgaria are incorrect.

On 7.05 a series of tests were carried out in Turkey and she has now been diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease of myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibodies - MOGAD, which has nothing to do with the diagnoses made so far.

Due to the long delay, treatment should be started immediately. According to initial information, he will need medical treatment and rehabilitation. At the moment we have received an offer for rehabilitation from Memorial Hospital in Istanbul. For accommodation and rehabilitation, $1000 per day is needed and the course is a minimum of 4 months. This amount does not include additional costs that may arise, such as specific tests or other interventions. We are also waiting to receive a quote from another hospital for the medication treatment, which we are tentatively informed will also take 4 months.
