Както вече написах в предния пост, се наложи спешна операция веднага след като пристигнахме за поставяне на устройство за поддръжка, наречено ЕCМО. Тъй като сърцето спира няколко пъти и изобщо не работи. За съжаление, ще се наложи да увеличим и сумата, тъй като докато е на това устройство, престоят в интензивен сектор е 2000 долара на ден. А за самата машина се плаща между 3 500 и 4 500 долара/дневно. За него и всички допълнителни изследвания покрай поставянето му, сме превели 50 000 USD. Всичко зависи от това колко време ще се чака за донор - може да бъде само на това устройство, но ако е повече от месец-два / което е по-вертоятно/, ще се наложи и поставянето на VAD /Berlin heart/. Но състоянието й се влоши рязко сутринта в деня на полета и нямаме друг избор. Знаете колко рисково беше транспортирането, и въпреки че сърцето спира няколко пъти - ние успяхме. Вие успяхте! As I wrote in my last post, we had to have emergency surgery right after we arrived to place a support device called ESMO. As the heart stopped several times and did not work at all. Unfortunately, we will have to increase the amount as well, since while on this device, the ICU stay is $2000 per day. And the machine itself is between $3,500 and $4,500/day. For it and all the additional research alongside its placement, we have transferred 50 000 USD. It all depends on how long the wait is for a donor - it could be just on this device, but if it's more than a month or two / which is more likely / we'll also need to have a VAD / Berlin heart / inserted. But her condition deteriorated sharply the morning of the flight and we have no choice. You know how risky the transport was, and even though the heart stopped several times - we made it. You made it! She is now under observation. The next few days are important to monitor her condition after the membrane is placed.
