I will introduce you to the background:

In the seventies of the last century, Father Alexander, of blessed memory, served in a domestic building (house) adapted from the inside for a temple. The inspection showed that it could not be brought back to life with reconstruction and it was decided to demolish it and build a new temple.

With the blessing of Metropolitan Ignatius of Pleven, we registered a church board of trustees and began the construction of the new temple "St. Paraskeva" according to the architectural project donated by arch. Tosho Stanev.

The contractor is the construction company "ZS INVEST" Ltd.

The Church Board of Trustees with chairman ic. Anton Turnev started the campaign to raise funds for the construction of the Orthodox chapel, entirely with charity. The construction began with 18 thousand leva donated by the three Orthodox churches in the town of. Pleven. Donations were received from the Diocese of Pleven, private individuals, companies, state institutions. The result, a year later, is that thanks to the commitment of all those involved in the campaign, the rough construction has almost been completed, for which 72 000 leva have been used. Recently, the plastering and painting of the facade was completed (14,000 BGN including VAT, the materials were donated), but we still owe 4,500 BGN.

Upcoming:

- Cladding of the dome, purchase and installation of a metal cross - about 8000 lv.

- Construction of electrical and plumbing installations with volunteer labor ( funds and materials have been provided by donors).

- Internal plastering

- Flooring;

- The painting and the construction of the altar.
