През изминалата 2024 година отпразнувахме 150-годишнината от Първата църковна служба в новосъградения Православен храм „Св. Никола” – с. Арда през 1874 г.
С изключителната воля, упоритост и мотивация видни арденски първенци правят неколкократни прошения от 1867 до 1872 г. пред Султана в Цариград за получаване на ферман – разрешително, за построяването на православен храм в селото.
Последното прошение се оказва успешно и църквата е построена за една година. В нея е вграден майсторлъкът на дюлгерите, с които Арда се слави през вековете.
В храмовия строеж участвали всички християнски фамилии, а сред дарителите има и мюсюлмани от региона. Построили черквата с убеждението, че я издигат завинаги. И вече 150 г. храмът е устоял на бурите на времето, издигайки се като паметник на вярата, че камбаната в Арда вече никога няма да замлъкне.
Във връзка с отбелязването на юбилейната 150 годишнина от съграждането на Храма настоятелството на Православен храм „Св. Никола” в с. Арда, заедно с инициативни, всеотдайни и добронамерени християни, изпълнихме малки подобрения, изразяващи се в неотложни ремонти и обновление в сградата на храма, двора и камбанарията.
За постигане на горните цели разчитахме на благоволението на добронамерени хора, енорияши, и частни фирми. С искрена благодарност се молим за здраве и успехи на всички ДАРИТЕЛИ, откъснали от средствата си за това Богоугодно дело.
За жалост, цените на материалите и услугите непрестанно се повишават и събраните средства не достигнаха за завършването на камбанарията.

In the past year 2024 we celebrated the 150th anniversary of the First Church Service in the newly built Orthodox Church "St. Nicholas" village. Arda in 1874.
With extraordinary will, perseverance and motivation, prominent Arda princes made repeated petitions from 1867 to 1872 to the Sultan in Constantinople to obtain a ferman, a permit, to build an Orthodox church in the village.
The last petition was successfulandthe church was built in one year. It incorporates thecraftsmanship of the dulgers, for which Arda has been famous over the centuries.
All Christian families participated in the construction of the church, and Muslims from the region were among the donors. They built the church with the conviction that they were building it forever. And for 150 years now the church has weathered the storms of time, rising as a monument to the belief that the bell in Arda will never be silent again.
In connection with the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the construction of the temple, the Board of Trustees of the Orthodox Church of St. Nicholas" in the village. Arda, together with enterprising, dedicated and well-meaning Christians, have implemented small improvements, consisting in urgent repairs and renovations in the temple building, courtyard and bell tower.
To accomplish the above goals we relied on the goodwill of well-meaning individuals, parishioners, and private businesses. It is with sincere thanksgiving that we pray for the health and success of all the DONORS who have chipped in of their means for this God-pleasing work.
Sadly, the prices of materials and services have been steadily rising and the funds raised were not enough to complete the bell tower.
We appeal for your support so that we can complete the renovation !
